Waterfall and National Park
just a few km from Kanchanaburi is one of the most spectacular
in the country.
There are seven falls, one after
the other and they are all different in appearance the place
looks real great. Swimming is possible in the different
pools the ideal place for a daytrip out of Bangkok since its
only around 3 hours drive, but avoid weekends and public
holidays since at that times it looks like rush hour in
Bangkok.
A cool place to relax either at
the waterfall or at one of the river resorts along the River
Kwai which is close by. Activities are trekking, kayaking
rafting, elephant ride and a couple of trips to different
Thailand National Parks in the area and on the way to the
Thailand Myanmar border at Three Pagoda Pass. |
